Here you are given a unique opportunity to rent a house on Styrsö in Bohuslän's outermost archipelago. The holiday adventure begins at the ferry stop on Saltholmen in western Gothenburg, where you park your car because the island is car-free. An exciting boat ride past charming coves and skerries takes you to the jetty at Styrsö/Tången. After that, our local representative will meet you to show you the way. You will be helped with your luggage and driven in a golf cart that takes you through the narrow alleys past picturesque captain's villas built 100 years ago. Once there, you will be greeted by a newly built, modern house with all the equipment imaginable. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed and two with bunk beds that can accommodate up to 6 people, two of whom must be under 12 years of age.
In the living room there is a nice sofa bed for two and up here there is also a guest toilet. On the first floor you will find a well-proportioned, well-equipped kitchen with a dining area for 10 people.
In line is the living room with a cozy sofa in front of the TV and the wood-burning stove. Directly adjacent is the terrace beautifully embedded in Bohus granite, where you can also use the gas grill for pleasant barbecue evenings.
Things to see and do on Styrsö and the surrounding area
The holiday house is in a fantastic location in a newly built area, Styrsö Höjd. Here you have only about 500 meters to an organized bathing jetty for salty swimming and exciting fishing excursions. On the island there are means of transport such as bicycles, flat mopeds and golf carts, but it is quite possible to walk around as the distances are short. Styrsö offers many fine nature trails and along the way you will find e.g. Stora Rös - Styrsö's highest point, Tången - an old fishing community in the north and Salskärs Udde in the south where you can enjoy the sun and swim from the rocks.
